TODAY: Really nice start to what is going to be another toasty afternoon. We will see another round of storms today, just not as many as Monday. Some slightly drier air will be moving-in as the day progresses and we won't have as many disturbances moving across eastern Colorado to initiate the convection. Storms are likely over the Rampart Range, Monument Hill and Wet and Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Like yesterday we'll be watching for some storms to be slow moving and have the potential to drop heavy rain. Around the Waldo Canyon burn scar this will raise the chance for more flooding problems. Highs to end this afternoon will reach 89 in Colorado Springs and 96 in Pueblo.

TONIGHT: Storms ending as the sun sets. By tomorrow morning we'll start the day with mostly sunny skies.

WEDNESDAY: Our last day for a really good chance for storms! Temps tomorrow will be about as toasty as today, but thundershower chances will go up a bit. Storms likely again over the mountains with some heavy rain possible. Chances for storms in the Springs will go up to around a 40-50% chance. Pueblo a 20-30% opportunity for much needed moisture.

THURSDAY-MONDAY: Drier air from the southwest moves back into eastern Colorado which means that our temps will start going back up and our chances for storms will go way down! Enough tropical moisture will remain over the mountains for there to be a chance for a few thundershowers each and every day. Temps during that time frame will be in the lower 90's each day in Colorado Springs and right around 100 or hotter in Pueblo and on the southeastern plains.

Enjoy the rest of the week!
