Snow, wind and cold continues this morning in eastern Colorado

TODAY: Snow, windy to start the day. Snow and winds decrease as the day goes on. An additional 3-5"+ possible in northern/northeastern El Paso County Monument, Black Forest, Peyton, Calhan). Blizzard Warnings continue in this part of our viewing area until 11 PM tonight! 1-3" possible for Colorado Springs. 1-2" more possible for La Junta and Canon City. 2-3"+ for Woodland Park and Rye. Pueblo and Pueblo West and additional inch or so. Wind chill values will make it feel like it is in the single digits and teens early in the day.

TONIGHT: Light snow still possible in a few spots...especially over Monument Hill. Skies will try to start clearing for parts of the eastern half of the state. The clearing skies will make for a colder night.

SATURDAY: Partly sunny to partly cloudy in the afternoon.
SUPER BOWL SUNDAY: Sunny skies and still chilly. High temps still below average...mid to upper 30's in the Springs and Pueblo. Maybe up to freezing in Teller County.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny skies and warmer. Temps at least 8-10 degrees warmer than max temps on Sunday.

TUESDAY: A weak storm moves through the mountains dropping a little bit of light snow. Because of that system it will be about 2-4 degrees cooler here compared to Monday.

WEDNESDAY/THURSDAY: Plenty of sunshine expected and a nice warming trend. Temps both days will be in the upper 40's in Colorado Springs and lower 50's in Pueblo.
