Update: As of 5:20 p.m. the problems were fixed and the 9-1-1 system in Teller County started working again.

A storm packing fierce rain and hail moved through Teller County, coinciding with the failure of the 911 system.

Emergency crews are uncertain of the source of the problem. Therefore, repairs have not yet begun and they have no idea when service will be restored.
